Because of the rather enormous amount of e-mail flowing on this list,
would it be possible to make more moderate postings? For example, could
discussions be limited to 1-2 screens, and 1 posting per person per day?
Exceptions might be made for postings from the NYTimes and NewNews [UseNet]
origins, since they cannot usually be abstracted with the same meaning.
Many subscribers just cannot keep up with the flow of e-mail; and they
leave the list. That is unfortunate, since the exchange of information is
quite valuable to ever subscriber.
