>Is it Disneyfication when Disney hires critically
acclaimed architects like Frank Gehry, Arata Isozaki and Aldo
Rossi to design its office buildings?

I think Witold needs to read my essay "Revisiting Fascism: 'Degenerate
Art' and the New Corporate Style." And David Harvey's "The New Urbanism
and the Communitarian Trap" (Harvard Design Magazine, Spring 1997).

Ada Louise's arguments (as summarized in the reviews of her book) do seem
simplistic and inconsistent. Maybe it's too many years of undisciplined
Times journalism. Can anyone cite other examples of critical writing on
"neo-traditionalism"?
