what i found interesting was that Serbia had/has its own regional
vernacular of the International Style, with its own architects of
renown. then, thinking of the International Style as, maybe, akin
to International governance (U.N./NATO?) and the war between two
vernaculars of this international (aesthetic) order. which brings
me to meditate further on steve's thought:
"maybe it's all just a (theoretical) war of (philosophical) ruins..."
