hi Ryan. this may be an impracticle suggestion, but is
there anyone at your school/college you could talk with
about your situation, in order to work with others to find
a way. secondly (and my first initial thought)... maybe, if
you could find a firm to support you, or your work/intern
at an office which could help with materials-costs, or even
places you do not work but ask firms to help you with their
discarded tools and materials... it seems like a long-shot in
that i have never heard it done, but if you really want to
continue (and like most do not have a car or other amenities
to make life easier), maybe there are others who have made
the leap who can give you a hand. anyone in Vermont on list
that has any ideas? what do you need in terms of tools? and
is it the extra-expenses alone or the cost of school that you
may not be able to pay for (and can you take out a loan, that
horrible thing to do, but necessary for many)... brian
