What is predestination, in your opinion?
"philosophically speaking" a kind of theory invented in response to some human (spiritual) weakness. (but i'm certainly not a philosopher...)like believing blindly or partially in astrology, or resurrection... looking for some mental comfort... ( in front of death, the common purpose of religions, so to help for a gentle passing over )In India social unrest was avoided by the caste system. Some citizens(?) accepted their destiny by anticipation, so accepted the predestination of their life on earth. There predestination was used as a social control factor.i wrote about a kind of genetic predestination, as a result of aleatory combination of genes in some humans, f.i. the prostate cancer in black people, but it's not exactly their "destiny", or their final goal (destination in the french is the "end of the trip".(any kind). probably (?) just the result or a by-side effect of aleatory mutations eventually helping their ancestors in another matter, like producing a darker pigmentation to resist hot wheather. can we describe destiny, anyways? So, then, pre-destination could be better defined later on.P.
