it is more than clear that the architectural war is over.
there is nothing to fight for that has not already been
won. there is no one who can defend the system as
it currently exists, except with special interest beliefs
in temporary individual gains. there are no critics who
can defend or justify current architecture, its ideas, its
theories, or practices, in non-ideological public review.
there are no teachers who can defend the denial of the
rights of private citizens in utilizing constitutional rights,
except on the basis of anti-democratic powers. there is
no architect who can equate today's cultural destruction
with cultural insight, it is to be censored, and ignored.
there are no competitions which fairly address issues
related to the environment in which architecture exists
today. architects, serving themselves, do a disservice
to architecture, limiting the possibilities to only what
they will allow. the institutions, including accreditation
organizations and professional societies have lost all
moral and ethical integrity and instead show a totality
of corruption, to such extent that the .US backing of an
architectural building against international law, which
is against any peace, is backed and without a whisper
from the professional community ideologically backing
this criminality through its throw-back hereditary power,
which is not, it is powerless, it is without truth, and has
no effective nor affective grasp on the realities of today;
except for a small group of those who benefit from the
pyramid scheme as set up, serving no public interest.
individuals speak as if universes unto themselves, to
dictate the truth, their power reinforced by the silence:
there is no power, there is no truth, architecture is full
of nothingness, no being, no existence, and no exit.
it is dead, as is ideology, until ideas retakes position
as the central value, architects who serve architecture
and public interests outside their own narrow confines.
there is nothing to fight but illusions, the systems is a
thoroughly broken, decrepit, discredited, and totally-
corrupt bureaucracy for building middle-class elitists.
architects, the priests of this dead system, cannot in
any way compete in either ideas nor buildings, in an
'open' market, with other professionals left outside the
small confines and enclaves of this reigning ideology.
this architectural taliban has already fallen, it is just a
matter of time when people will stop serving its goals-
its mythic belief in itself as a benign, omnipotent, and
cultural seer who rules from above, as destined to be.
a majority of architects, and also the majority of sense
inside architects do not necessarily believe this but it
is acted out by the design of the architect educational
systems and practices and its system of goals-rewards.
it is a hollow shell, there are no ideas which transcend
the buildings, the schools, the directions, except for a
political-economic unimaginative approach to belief-
true belief- of what architecture is (unquestionable) -
and what architects are supposed to be like, as it is
managed by the centralized organizing committees.
the vacancy of this approach has led to such a great
lack of oversight that it actually threatens those in the
built environment, as those who should know most
about this actually know little to nothing, other than
getting an extremist education, getting the 'religion'
of architectural true-belief in modern industrialism-
and blindly following so as to achieve final sanction.
it is foolish to continue fighting this ideological system
as there is nothing left to fight, no one can defend it,
not critics, students, teachers, theorists, organizations,
museums, institutes, architects, -- absolutely no one.
there is no architecture in architecture today, here,
now. it is a ghost, floating about in the realm of ideas,
until the schools are reformed, the tenured priest are
expelled, and checks and balances (including 'facts'
of science) are brought into this realm of 'education',
where open minded questioning and learning can
occur and are supported, no oppressed, suppressed,
repressed, and resented for reminding architects of
the society they have chosen to ignore to keep their
universal belief system intact, regardless of 9/11, the
launching of world wars, the environment going to
hell-- it is this blind obedience to the masters who
are masters only in the sense of their own egos to
control and manipulate power to their own ends--
that this system of educators, education, and the
larger profession and its ideas are being held back
by cowards, creeps, and corruption on a scale that
is equivalent to global issues not being faced as a
result of the ignorance, duplicity, and the falsity bred
and encouraged to continue 'tradition' without change.
it is a system of exploitation, a natural monopoly, and
a pyramid scheme in which both the public and private
loses as a result of individuals making illusionary gain.
the cultural vacancy, the vile disregard of ethics and
the purpose of building, have been given over to the
world of fantasy, and it has brought the world to ruin.
architect schools, architects, and architecture today
are baseless in addressing the cultural they exist in
and within and cease to exist when this connection
is avoided and as a result, voided from the compact
of civic functions of the profession- not only the self.
the privatization of architecture by the ideologies of
architects has confined public questioning to an 'x'
marks the spot zone of internal dialogues of great
masters, in their own mind, with apprentice slaves,
maybe one day the exception will be a master too.

this entrance of public questioning within a private context,
inside the architects brain no less, leave public architecture
at the subservience of private agendas inside institutions
meant to serve private agendas, the universe is not itself
autonomous, it is driving by the private beliefs of architects,
who determine what is and is not in a particular universe of
their choosing, they thus define architecture, its universe in
which it operates, reality itself, and the issues encompassed
prior to allowing their private questioning to be engaged--
and facts and reason do not exist, unless they reflect that
which is 'real' and 'true' in the mind of the creator of such a
system of belief, faith, and devotion to the almighty architect.

instead, the public architect, who does exist and does allow
public questioning in this same warped model, can allow an
idea contrary to the private ideological universe as believed,
yet this questioning remains distorted in its completely non-
empirical relation to world as it exists outside of architecture.
architects are thus silent, unable to even compete with the
world of culture outside of the most subjectivized realms of
art, which insults the skills and unique cultivation to those
endeavors, on par with making buildings sculptural, and
to justify the ideas of fire safety, urban design, pollution,
environment, security, to an ideological escapism which
has to deal with none of the core functions of building, to
keep people safe, to build community, to encourage the
best in cultural development, as a whole, on a civic scale.
instead, the public questioning is lost to a proprietization
of the entirety of architecture to serve the architects who
have little or no interest in anyone or anything but them-
selves. it is not a moral or ethical judgment on individuals
per se, unless they try to defend such ideology and find
the hollowness of their metaphysical 'soul' expressed as
such in public. this system is unconscionable, architects
are not universes (nor gods) unto themselves, yet this is
the default ideological condition. those who use this very
ideology to further their private agendas, as does happen
as the standard model of operation-- not the exception--
are holding back the whole of architecture as a result. it
is crime, an architectural crime, a crime of integrity, will,
and purpose, and those who seek to defend this regime
are the architectural taliban who will never seek change.
they are antithetical to open thinking and ideas and to
addressing that which they do not want to believe in-- it
has become a religious institution, without the morality,
is state financed, and fronts as a legally licensed entity.
the jury rules in favor of architecture. the architects who
perpetuate these crimes against cultural development
and social conscience should be held accountable for
reinforcing a bureaucracy rather than building a better
place for people, ideas, and architectures to inhabit.
instead, we are defenseless, there is nothing to justify
the continuation of such illegal outposts in academia
and industry, monopolizing on mediocrity, celebrating
the least of that which can be accomplished together
with ideas. there is nothing left to fight-- it is absurdity,
itself. architects, their schools, their ideologies consist
of nothing in relation to the world as it exists today, in
the way it exists today, as parts, and not philosophical
total-views of wholes upon wholes, full of holes, which
are only defendable by unconstitutional, undemocratic,
and anti-educational tactics of disciplinary punishment.
the fools no longer have control over their own ship, it
sunk, on 9/11, a titanic which they seek to raise again,
as if to set sail again, same journey, same course, un-
changed, undisturbed, unconcerned, and uninterested
in the world outside their true belief in their rightness.
architecture is bigger than architects, architects both
serve and are served by architecture, by architects.
yet today this is not nearly so, architects serve nothing
more than ideas of the past, detached from the present,
novel in their time, yet a luxury that is unaffordable in
a shared, public world and universe. the limit has been
reached, those who continue to bleat on about how the
profession is redeemed are lying to themselves and,
are propagandists for the status quo, and political at
that. the world is the best of all worlds, for architects,
otherwise it is an unbearable indictment of the loss of
truth, reality, and justice for architects to serve people,
to serve nature, to serve the public, and peace, and to
make great gains and innovations in shared efforts to
exceed limitations of the past-- to let loose imagination
to secure what wars, guns, tanks, and bombs never will.
ideas. architecture is a promise, and it is yet to be kept.
there is nothing more to fight but lingering illusions of
a dead system seeking its rebirth, and it is vanquished
unless those who seek its continuance are given power
to control, once again, the falsity of their utopian goals.
architecture now meaningless, architects are powerless,
those who support this system are amongst the most
pathetic that exist today, the most entrenched and the
most wretched ideologues and extremists still around.
the order has changed. minds have changed. the future
of architecture is here. it changes with those who serve
the public ideas of architecture, the public institutions
of architecture, and who recognize evil in their midst.
the judgment comes down on the side of universal truth,
whatever it may be, it is not the side of 'architects' today.
it is on the side of democracy, freedom of thought, of
mind, of imagination, of action, of engagement, of truth,
of change, of collaboration, of life, of peace, and justice.
