[design] Removal of archive e-mails?

ryan, please explain this identity theft
and how editing the archive relates to it.
please send your request to the list, with
reasoning why removing old e-mails would
solve your problem. otherwise, the archives
are not editable unless it solves the issue,
nor is erasing the internet a possibility.
i.e. it is not clear how this would help you.
more info is needed, and i am not moderator.
fyi: by default, the answer would be no.
