For Heidegger on mathematics you might consider looking at his essay
"Modern Science, Metaphysics and Mathematics" in _Basic Writings_, if you
haven't already. There, Heidegger argues for an exploded conception of
mathematics. On the basis of this exploded conception, it seems possible
to characterize B&T as a "mathematical" work.
You make an interesting suggestion.
