Congratulations! It's almost over! I'm finally getting my feet again after a few days of stunned recuperation. After they suck out your soul, they expect you to publish! I hope your writing goes well after the brutalization!
Speaking of academic capitalism, I'm in the middle of writing a response to a critique of my article in "Thought and Action" -- she's a real gung-ho capitalist, a "Special Assistant to the President" at her college. So I'm using this response as a way to get the juices flowing again.

What will you be working on when you've weathered the ordeal?
In the meantime, I hoist a beer to honor all paupers!!!
