Provided some freedom of speech, Heidegger would have added at any time
during National Socialism: "And, now Germany seems extremely eager to join
them into self-degradation!" That holds in every case (it is a tautology!),
because he kept himself non-gassed by removing such obvious comments from
his writings then. American capitalism, Russian communism and German Nazism,
they were all the same for him. If he joined that Nazi party, it was either
from kind of a teenage (naive) idealism or a genuine desire to study human
evilness and stupidity in action. I guess it was something of both: getting
to chew a high ideal and spitting it out later, disgusted.
In fact, look at Heidegger: no racist words in his collected works, no hate
speech, he attacked biologism, he attacked ad hominems, he attacked land
traitors (their gang was in power then in Germany!), his etimologistic
tendencies prove he studied Kabala, he was the pupil of a Jew, he had a
Jewish mistress, and he even alluded to concentration camps during Nazi
rule, what do you want more? To discover he was later paid by Mossad?
You see, it is damn easy to say: communism, or capitalism or Islamic state
or name it, will solve all our problems. None of such solution ever worked.
Get real: we're condemned to solutionlessness! Sad, but true. Only a God can
save us...
