Thanks, bob. There is a lot to consider in your post, that I, not even being
a student, just a barely self-employed graphic de-signer cum hopeful
musician (no money in my version of that!), can not deal with just now, but
later mayhaps... But can we not consider and think be-ing being never beings
(or a being however special), never ever an abstraction, never a cognitive
or otherwise instrumentality, never a "soul" whether in the machine or
free-floating, never ever an essence or (platonic?) form (of some thing), or
any thing of the sort? Difficult, yes: but impossible? I think if we do not
attempt to identify the OD as some thing yet again (it [is]
difference-qua-difference, different than its self; OD "is" be-ing;
Heidegger somewhere says that the difference between be-ing and beings IS
be-ing: difference without the differends), the way lies to think be-ing
without annihilating beings in the process. Rather than some generalising
generality or somewhat, be-ing [is] the uniquely unique, thus impossible to
tie down to grasp to ... with a word. Be-ing crossed out, eh?

The leaf lies on the ground. The leaf is. Is.

And yes, you are a million miles from any kind of bathroom (bad) joke.

many thanks and regards
