The DDA has clarified that NRIs, persons of Indian
origin, public and private sector bodies as well as
the corporate bodies who will be allowed to
participate in the auction of residential plots for
the first time in October will not be permitted to
operate banking services and nursing homes.
The DDA has said that they can construct only for
residential purposes. There is no provision allowing
the use of the plots for constructing/operating
banking services and nursing homes, a senior official
said
