ADB to lend $7.3bn to India
The Manila-based ADB is likely to extend loans to the Power Grid Corp Transmission II Project in ’07 while the second phase of support to Madhya Pradesh and Assam power sector reforms is expected in ’08.
Mr Chidambaram said government has approved 23 city projects under National Urban Renewal Mission and would invite the multilateral agency to participate in implementation.
