protest outside DMRC IT Park hearing venue to demand
shifting of appu ghar to dmrc recreation-amusement. (I
have stay on that and RTI about vist of CJI that dmrc
arranged to site and the EIA hearing was whoa
blackmail material!)

Appu Ghar employees to stage protest
New Delhi
AROUND 500 employees and shopkeepers operating from
Appu Ghar have urged the Chief Justice of India not to
let the tussle between the amusement park and the
Delhi Metro over land acquisition affect their
livelihood. On September 4, they will hold a protest
outside the amusement park.
For the Indraprastha stretch of the Metro line, the
DMRC has claimed four acres of land where Appu Ghar
stands. Another 12 acres of the land falling in its
premises have been allotted to Supreme Court to build
new chambers and an auditorium. The workers demanded
that they be relocated if the amusement park is shut
down.
