Well, now that Stanley's "absense of presence" has left a *very big void*
(and what *is* spatiality, anyway) our li'l ole school o' architecture
here in the city of big hog shoulders is looking for a new dictator -
forgive me - *director*. Really, regardless of what you think of the
the almighty rotund one, he's quite an act to follow, and as the
self-proclaimed architecture capital of the world, we need a big person
to fill it. To all you would-be directors out there, please contact our
National Search Committee! But i may as well tell you, I have given the
matter some serious thought, and have exercised my right to make a nomination
of my own: His Royal Highness Prince Charles of Wales. After all, nostalgic
architecture *is* the wave of the future (especially now that Stanley's
gone), he's certainly been well-trained to juggle public relations and
divine right to rule (always an important feature in our autocratic
neck of the woods), and he can pay his own way to the job interview!

So if you'd like to show your support for Charles - just having him in the
country would probably be good for your school, too - just drop a little
note to the dean telling her how much it would mean to you.
