A few posts back, someone recommended the directory IDEA:
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTORY OF ELECTRONIC ARTISTS, which I seconded.
Another directory which may be of similar interest to readers of
this newsgroup is TRANSMIT 92, focussed specifically on artists
who participate in collaborative online art events (networked,
videophone, fax, slow scan video, etc.) Naturally there are
fewer artists listed (and no critics!) but more info on each.
And it is beautifully produced as an artist's book, with great
sampled and original images tied to the topic. It is compiled
by Carolyn Speranza, who has made numerous artist's books and
participated in many online art happenings.
