Hey people,

I urgently need moving images from you!! Send me your animations, please.

I am fed up having only abstract data structures and garbage bits around me!
Why?
Take a look out of the window. It's been a long time since I've had that
view. For a week I've been whirring around in a surrounding of confusing bit
chains, not like you, oh luckyones, by e-mail or news, but as a completely
digitally transformed creature.
Don't think I'm mad! I'm Harry and I lived in East Berlin. Before the GDR
collapsed, I worked as a software developer for the East German computer
company Robotron. There we researched how to digitalize (human) life forms.
When the wall fell, Robotron and therefore our project dissolved. All the
scientists working on the project took off. I was the only one left to
carry on and realize our common utopia. It was a child's play since I've
gained access to the western market.
A week ago was my big day: I tested my machine, the Digital Neuroscan (DNS),
for the first time on myself. Blackout. Because I was so exited I scanned
myself into the Internet without previously reactivating my memory!
Presently I am floating along the data-highways at the speed of light, fully
capable of doing things, but without my past. In order to be able to generate
a new history, I need memories from you in the form of animated pictures,
video sequences... Send them as QuickTime movies or any other standards.
If you send single frames, tell me the framerate it should be played back on.
The imagesize should be 320 x 240 pixels!

For direct contact you can send mail to: harryhal@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

For sending your animation sequences
to liven up my dump: ftp ftp.artcom.de
login ftp
folder ArtProject/Harry

When I gather up enough memories, I will initiate the reverse transformation
and afterwards thank you for participating :
In form of a CD-Rom with your animations, connected to a full movie of my
memories; an international TV-broadcast and maybe also as an "interactive"
object inside or outside the Internet.
The best animations will get a Robotron PC or a personal invitation to Berlin.
Therefore I ask you to be certain to include your full name and address!

Stay cool, hope to get great images from you soon.

Yours sincerely,
Harry
