look howard, i have a legitimate concern here and that you read my
question as negative convinces me of your callousness. You are the
gatekeeper of this forum and if you brush off the political implications
of such a position then you are supressing some important issues. i don't
want to make much more of this but you border on being irresponsible.

Let me rephrase my question: is it more important to ask people not to
talk, to appease those who aren't paying attention anyway, or is it
important to try to stimulate dialogue in a medium that affords an
opportunity as never before for radically democratic exchange?

Forgive me if i just don't buy the notion that you are operating from
more than mere technical limitations.
