(as for the smoked, I prefer salmon, btw..., or a well done "Jambon
d'Ardennes" - my birth place was some capital of such... mmmiammmhhhh ---
a solid half-inch slide, toasted under a pair of fresh eggs and served with
fresh farm salted butter over some fresh homemade bread - I still dream of
those childhood realities)
