I was curious if anyone here believes in the "100th Monkey" phenomenon or
more specifically, as it relates to design.
basically the 100th Monkey phenomenon states that once a small number of
people know something, then the entire population knows it. so I'm wondering
if there is a critical number, when it comes to designers.
it just seems odd that designers, that have never seen the work of another,
and living across geographic bounds, can create similar art.
thoughts on this?
