[design] sculptural crossology

here's a sculpture outputted in the last weekend,
more images/animations to be online tomorrow. it
results from conversations on this list regarding
crossology, ship masts, and other things that led
to further research. it is basically a composition
based on medieval ships where a cornucopia of sails
and masts become very expressive as a whole, and i
think this connection between sails and electrical
poles could be pursued aesthetically, borrowing of
ideas from sailing to transform the grid into a more
expressive ordering, or at least with poetic events.
in any case, this is an aesethetic basis for what
will someday be conceptualized as electromagnetic
architecture, that infrastructural aesthetics are
architectural in nature and could change the nature
of designing if utilizing this aesthetic language
that is about as 'ancient' open-source as it gets.
not just the form, the content also, power, energy,
information, as integrated in new structural orders.
in any case, for what it is worth...
