Michael Eldred refers to Hermann Moerchen's effort to find
rapprochement between the thinking of Heidegger and Adorno.
There is a nice review of Moerchen's efforts in Fred Dallmayr's
fascinating book _Between Freiburg and Frankfurt_ from
U. Mass. Press.
Dallmay's book, by the way, offers a very nice reflection on
the "political" as it relates to both thinkers. I recommend
it highly along with his book _The Other Heidegger_. Both
books are concerned with the political as against a background
that Dallmayr wants to call a "critical ontology."
Moerchen's huge book is not a likely candidate for translation.
