In Homer the notion of "presencing", i.e. manifestation of
the god, is often associated with some prodigy of violence.
Heidegger reads very much in this vein. Like the Romantics,
Junger, the George Circle,...he would concieve Violence
cognate, vis a vis Being, with art/religion: a transfiguring
or sacramentality,... the Schlageter eulogy?
And it seems reasonable to assume, once fascism became istitutionalized
that view became out of fashion, and to be rigorously disguised.
