Re: Rhetorical truth?

Michael,
I especially liked your bit on the fundamental attunement being a
kind of presentiment of another B of bs (Sein des Seiendes), an
attunment which still needs to be brought to a stand in language.
But I am wondering about your use of Heidegger's use of "the draft."
(Which he talks about in WCT (Was Heisst Denken) and the Beitraege.

Is the draft the approach of another dispensation of B, or is it the
standing-out-into B itself. The latter is necessary for the former,
and Nietzsche for one, certainly anticipates another epoch of B (so
can be both), but Heid talks about Socrates as the purest thinker of
the West, who never wrote because he never stepped out of the draft.
Is Socrates implicated in the new B of bs brought about by Plato?
(think of the cover of Derrida's _The Post Card_, e.g.). As i THINK
about it more, I'm not so sure that there is a problem here; the
draft is of Being, without which there can be no new B of bs, so, in
answer to disjunction above: it is the latter and thereby
facilitates the former.

Is that how you meant it?
