RE: Preemptive answer

Heidegger responded to Jud's accusations re religion/
birdwatchers/liverwatchers etc. aleady in 'Science
and reflection' (V&A). Scientific 'theory' is led back
to the Greek theorein, and to the Latin contemplatio,
in which is templum. Then Heidegger writes some strange
words on the old Romans and the (cut-out) realm of the
temple in which, for the sake of *prediction* they
observe (theory) the birds, in their flight and their
"Fressen", a beasty word for eating, which Heidegger has
used here.

Compare Principle of ground, where Cicero's inconspicious
statement on ratio and causa is called 'of worldhistoric
importance'. Ratio, account, reckoning, is the word delivered
to Leibniz and his more famous statement of ground, and via
Leibniz to modern scientific theory, which is rationally
calculating and predictively searching for dangers.

It is this science that delivers the radium. Not religion:
religions have temples, not laboratories. And who says otherwise
shows he's just a liar, and part of the democratic lying majority.
