Onderwerp: Eating Hedgehogs and Picking One's Nose.

(or one must prefer Jud's humanism, which, as can be witnessed, is just
racism)

Oh, no John, no John, no John, no!

As I am tired of repeating - it is quite possible [and natural] not to like
people for how they BEHAVE, without disliking them
for what they ARE - racially speaking. I may dislike a gypsy because he
picks his nose and eats hedgehogs at the dining table - NOT because he is a
Romany. The black dress, homburg and wringlets of orthodox Jews makes me shudder -
but it is the black dress, homburg and wringlets I don't like - not the Jews
who dress that way. The Afghan women in their personalised mobile tents look
ridiculous - but it the dress that is ridiculous, not the fact that the women
are Afghani. It is all a question of how people have been socialised - or in
Heidegger's case how he was Nationally - Socialised. ;-)

Regards,

Jud

But, Jud, you re-introduce here the subject that before you wanted to see expelled.
As if behind the dress there is sthing like a wearer of the dress. (behind beings Being)
Your 'humanism' posits your value 'human', grants it to every- and anyone, and then
starts scorning the dress. But the Afghani woman wants her dress and not your humanity.
Your good humanist intentions turn you into a racist, like GoldHagen's holy justice
drives him into a lunatic. Is he now studying the antisemitic character of the
American majority of willing executioners?

How come, that the champion of common sense finds himself, no is still totally lost
in stories and makebelieve? Has he trouble to believe himself? And is that the reason
for his aggression?

i see anwers in Nietzsche's Dionysos-dithyramb: one-leggedness as one-sidedness.
Dionysos is the unity of two: life and death. Whoever thinks he can just pick out life
and blame others for death - aged Christianity - will be severely punished by him.

yours
rene

Dionysos and Jesus both have a mortal as mother, and a god as father.
Heidegger, in GA39, contributes some pages to Dionysos, on account of
the ivy in a Hoelderlin line. He also mentions the book 'Dionysos' by
Walter Otto. I'm glad i only read it recently.
