RE: the never-ending gas story

so in the computer history of 20 july 1944 there was
Churchill to propose to his generals to use poison
gas against the German cities. But the generals
protested: no, not this, this we won't do!

and maybe saved Heidegger's life by it...

Freiburg was bombed only very late (and very unnecessary)
and short on 27 November 1944. 300 English planes, 14.000
bombs in 20 minutes. 2800 people dead, 4000 injured.
city ruined (take a touristic view) Heidegger and the cathedral
unharmed

but he could also already be gone, he must have had a good
intuition for danger, otherwise, as a German living in the first
half of the 20st century, one has not much chance to stay out
unharmed.

You see now, i warned Jud, but he had to make his point with
Heidegger and gas. But it's all very different.

no?

and Fallujah? and 100.000 women and children? And the excuse
to do that? The gas?
