Re: Green Buildings in Europe - Help

I have difficulties understanding why the Schroeder house is a better
example of "green thinking". You mention the minimal materials that have been
used in a "constrained manner". I would suggest that this building is to itself
a manifesto of the denial of materiality. Rarely does this wonderful example
demonstrate the acknowledgement of material, to the exception of certain
details you surely have noticed.
In regards of the Dutch polder & dyke system as green I am unable to answer thi
s question.
