Another option might be to make the archive available to any
contributor/member of design-l that wants it.
John, I appreciate what you've done in terms of 'saving' the archive, but
it's not altogether clear why you should decide alone how the archive is
distributed.
Granted none of this would be an issue if Howard hadn't locked up the
archive and if Anand wasn't now balking.
If I had a copy of the archive, I certainly wouldn't horde it, rather I'd
let it be known to the list that a CD of the archive is available (for a
fair/small handling fee) and that would be it.
