factum brutum

++I'm a Japanese and a student of a Japanese University.
So please excuse me for my terrible English.

I read H's Sein und Zeit.
I am faced with an unintelligible term.

>>Faktizitaet ist nicht die Tatsaechlichkeit des f a c t u m b r u t u m
>>eines Vorhandenen,..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sein und Zeit, Max Niemeyer Verlag, p.135
Gesammtausgabe, p.180

I don't understand the word f a c t u m b r u t u m.
Japanese terms for this are divided.
That is tranlated into Japanese like: dull fact, immovable fact, and true fact.
Does anyone know which is better?
And where does this Latinic term come from?
