For a long time it was the received opinion based, I suppose, on the
linguistic evidence, that the Saxons, Angles, and Jutes came in such
numbers that they eventually displaced the original population in
what is now England (except for the far South-west) and Southern
Scotland. It is in the last few decades that this view has been
challenged, based on an estimate that the immigrants/invaders were
only, in numbers, from 1 to 10 percent of the existing population
and the lack, in the archaeological record, of evidence of
widespread destruction. I have no view myself on what theory is
correct.

No, I think he is claiming to be something else - a Celt. Just as
Hitler thought that there is an Aryan race and a Jewish race, Jud
holds the rather quaint view that there is a Celtic race of which
he is a pure blooded member.
