Further to my previous post,

It is quite obvious that the DMRC has been conducting
a joint excercise with the Army in the neighbourhood
of Central Delhi where Government offices / residences
are located to determine the suitablity of the
underground DMRC stations as Nuclear Bomb shelters,
this is international practice. Furthermore they are
interested in hardening the Shastri Park Command
Centre to resist fallout and the IT infrastructure
etc. In view of this aspect, citizens may question why
the underground portions of DMRC are very conveniently
located only near Govt buildings / Govt facilities -
starting from Metcalfe House in the North to the
Secretariat in the South.
